Welcome Fifth Graders!

 Welcome to 5th Grade - Room 55
My name is Kristen Lawver and I'm so happy to be teaching 5th grade. I was born and raised in Ann Arbor and love living and working in Michigan. This is my 13th year teaching in Milan Area Schools. I have a my Teaching Degree and Master's Degree from Eastern Michigan University and I completed my student teaching in Milan. I taught 4th grade for 7 years and I've been teaching 5th grade for 6 years. Milan is a wonderful community.

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy reading and participating in many sports including tennis, golf, and swimming. I love to travel and two of my favorite places to visit are Colorado and Traverse City.
